Mega Bus Cheap Travel Alternative
If you are looking for a cheap travel option to get from Jacksonville to places like Atlanta or Orlando try Mega Bus. This double decker bus have fares as low as a $1 each way. If you book your trip well in advance can pick up those rates. But do not fret if you cannot book that cheap rate other rates I have seen example from Jacksonville to Orlando $9 each way. That is still a good price to travel.
In Jacksonville, Florida the Mega Bus picks up at the Prime Osbourne Convention center Skyway stop location. The final destination in Orlando would be the Lynx public bus main terminal. A single ride fare is $2 and if needing to connect to another bus ask for a transfer pass when paying. If you are going to ride all day there is an unlimited ride pass for $4.50. These buses are tourist friendly. If you are unsure ask the driver. They see tourists all the time so they are helpful when getting around. They service the outlets and malls for shopping trips.
