I was in Walmart yesterday 4/19/2014 here in Jacksonville Florida. I was in their Clearance section and seen these lovely Disney Licensed Princess Dresses. If you are planning a trip to Disney World or buying for ahead of time of Halloween time. I would check your local Walmart for this deal. Prices and inventory does vary from each store. So check them out and see what you can get at a steal.

I have come accross the one thing all parents that want to provide their outfits for their Disney trip.
I have chatted to moms that want to find budget friendly options to get their children pirate or princessfied for their Disneyland or Walt Disney World trip. Also Great options for Mickey's not so Scary Halloween for when Adults want to wear princess dresses also.
I have chatted to moms that want to find budget friendly options to get their children pirate or princessfied for their Disneyland or Walt Disney World trip. Also Great options for Mickey's not so Scary Halloween for when Adults want to wear princess dresses also.
Here is a short list of tips and ideas to get your imagination moving.
1. Try the most obvious try Ebay. Sometimes though on Ebay have to be careful. Sometimes this is where some sellers would jack up the prices so I would try the other options in this list. Then go back to Ebay if you have to.
2. Yes, Good will does have an auction site. This is a great location to check out bridal, prom dresses, flower girl or brides maid dresses that can be converted at a discount into princess dress. By picking out a dress here is a sure way for your little princess have a one of kind dress no one else has.
Here is examples I have recently found even for the older princess that want to wear a dress especially during Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. There is some great vintage wedding dresses that run about $10 that can be made to look like ghost dresses like from haunted mansion or the lady with a hatchet. The possibilities are endless.
Here is some examples:
3. Your local Bridal shops. There maybe some flower girl options or bridesmaid dresses that maybe a special order that no one has ever picked up. They put these on clearance to get rid of them.
4. Home Sewing options. Joann Fabrics would be a great place to get sewing patterns when on sale. Sometimes you can catch Simplicity, Butterick or Mccalls for .99 to $1.99 each. If they are not on sale you can view coupons you can print out from joann.com or retailmenot.com for printable coupons for joann's. There is even an Android ap for joann that also have coupons you can pull up on your cell phone and show the cashier.
Here is the patterns I have found that can be used for Pirate or Princess options.

5. Disney Store:

7. AFTER HALLOWEEN CLEARANCE.
This is my all time favorite way to save on Costumes for Disney. I have seen from last halloween example Target, KMart and Walmart has clearance sales where you end up paying over half off for outfits for your kids. Just buy them at the larger sizes so when they get a growth spurt they can still wear. I have seen Dresses for as low as $10 before which is a significant savings. Plan ahead is my motto. The clothes don't go bad if stored for the next year.
Also check out the Halloween costume websites for clearance through out the year for accessories like slippers, Jewelry or etc.
You don't have to blow the bank in order to get your little princess or pirate that costume when meeting their favorite Disney character.
